Eager Existence

So you want to find a travel blogger?

Ian founded a year before quitting his corporate job and embarking on a one-way trip to Europe in early 2011.

What started out as a way to keep in touch with family and friends, share adventures, and photos quickly grew into much more.

After a year of full-time solo travel the site was redesigned to broaden the reach to goal-setting, with a focus on bucket lists.

So while most of the content is travel-related, the site goes one step further to encourage readers to make the most of their life and take the steps necessary to achieve their dreams (rather than fearing the unknown). Logo

Focus Topics

So it’s not just another “cubicle-dweller-who-quit-the-9-to-5-for-world-travel” blog.

  • A focus on achieving goals (and bucket lists), not just creating them, but making them happen.
  • How to travel the world on the cheap, and solo, including hospitality exchanges.
  • Personal journey/reflection along the way, including misadventures ranging from scams to transport.

So you need someone to focus on a specific destination? Ian has travelled to almost 30 countries in a couple of short years by living from a backpack full-time including Europe, Africa, Oceania, Asia, and North America. See the website for the full breakdown, example itineraries, and the journal along the way.

The Statistics

The site is currently going through a massive relaunch, so we won’t dazzle you with the current statistics. If you’re really interested you can contact Ian, or use a traffic analysis tool.

Get in Touch

If you are interested in networking to discuss blog trips, guest posts, advertising, or adventure sponsorship/team-mates, we encourage you to get in touch.
